What is Amanah?

Amanah (أمانة) means trust, responsibility, and moral obligation in Islam. It represents the sacred duty we have to use resources entrusted to us in the best way possible.

Our ultimate goal is to establish Amanah Trust as a permanent waqf (وقف) - an endowment whose principal remains intact while its benefits flow continuously to those in need.

In the waqf model, your contributions become part of a perpetual fund. The principal is invested in ethical, sustainable ways, and the returns are used to fund ongoing charitable projects. This means:
